Your Life In Colour is dedicated to providing a loving and inviting space for children to release emotions/feelings in a safe and professional environment, and to allow growth/change in a positive and affirming way. Children are supported with 1 hour sessions through Reiki and Colour Therapy and also Wellness for Children utilising art, play and sand tray play. Specialising in working with children aged up to 14 years old.
Reiki and Colour Therapy
For Children and Adults. Usui Reiki is a hands on healing modality that induces feelings of relaxation and rejuvenation, for clarity of heart and mind and overall wellness of the whole self. Reiki is a natural pain relief and promotes accelerated healing on the physical body.
Energy healing is received on many levels, such as the physical; which directs energy to the skin, muscles and organs of the body, the emotional; which directs energy to the mind for calming and clarity, and spiritually; which directs energy to the etheric bodies that surround the physical body (aura) and to connect with the Divine.
Client remains fully clothed at all times. Reiki combined with Colour Therapy brings an added dimention to a Reiki healing. This combination allows for an increased vibrational healing aspect of the Reiki treatment through coloured silks and colour essences carefully selected for each individuals needs.
Reiki is especially wonderful for children of all ages. It is a time for the child to have the focus on themselves, without invasive chatting and questions. Reiki is fabulous in times of illness, stress, fatigue, anxiety,shock and complements other modalities: eg. naturopathy, homeopapthy and conventional medical treatments.
Colour Therapy can be used with Reiki, or as its own modality. With the use of colour through art mediums, colour silks/cloths and other tools, colour speaks its own language. Through facilitation of the consultation, the process of working with colour can assist emotionally and physically. Colour is everywhere. It is in the foods that we eat, the flowers that we grow and the feathers of the birds that delightlfully sit in surrounding trees. The beauty, richness and value is often missed in our all too busy schedule. Each colour has its own vibration and symbolic meaning. Have you ever felt 'blue', or been 'red with anger'? Have you considered what colour shirt you should wear to that very important interview? Come and learn about colour and what it has to offer you. It will change the way you 'see' colour.
Wellness for Children
Children can be challenged with difficulties such as fatigue, illness, anxiety and pain which makes for everyday school and home life unhappy and even depressing. Reiki is a wonderful encouragement for the whole self to bring itself back into balance. Programs for each child based on individual needs are created for optimal benifit. Children do not need to be ill or in pain to be struggling in their everyday world. Emotional issues where self issolation, outbursts, crying and an overall lack of joy can be just as distressing and overwhelming to the child and the impact that has on others around them. Releasing these emotions in a controlled environment through play, art and sand tray play is a wonderful gift for the child to communicate without (or with) words. With the release of 'negative' emotions comes opportunity to refuel the self with positive and affirming actions and words, in an effect creating new patterns of behaviour and positive emotions. As 'Wellness for Children' suggests, it is the opportunity for children to take back their power to be healthy happy indiduals. All sessions are lovingly facilitated in a carefully set space for the child to re build their resiliance and recconnect with their true happy self.
